As a switch, VRG processes and securely routes transaction requests between participating entities for further processing. Information is handled only as necessary to facilitate the applicable transaction and support the secure and reliable operation of the switch.

VRG does not maintain underlying customer or transaction information as a permanent repository. Once the relevant processing or transaction purpose has been fulfilled, information that is no longer required is securely disposed of in accordance with applicable legal, regulatory, security and operational requirements.

How We Protect Information

VRG takes appropriate measures to protect information while it is being processed through its systems and services, to support its confidentiality, integrity and security. These measures are intended to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, misuse or other security-related events.

Sharing of Information

Information processed through VRG may be securely transmitted to the designated partner bank or other authorized participating institution, for the purpose of processing the relevant transaction request. Where required by applicable legal or regulatory obligations, information may also be made available to relevant regulatory authorities, including the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA).

VRG does not seek or knowingly handle information from children under the age of 18.
