About VRG
Architects of Pakistan's National Financial Switch
Virtual Remittance Gateway (VRG) connects banks and telecom operators. This lets people across Pakistan send mobile payments and remittances, even without a data connection.
Who We Are
Pakistan's dual-licensed financial switch, built to connect everyone.
VRG is the technology layer that connects Pakistan's banks, telecom operators, and mobile wallets on one switch. That turns an ordinary feature phone into a full banking channel — for millions of people who never had one before. No app, no data connection, no smartphone required.
That's only possible because of a regulatory position no one else in the country holds, and the operational backing of one of Pakistan's largest business groups — both covered in detail below.

Mission & Vision
Why we exist, and where we're headed
Two distinct commitments that shape every product decision VRG makes.
Unlocking banking services for over 15 million accounts with simple *2262# USSD access.
Through the State Bank-backed Asaan Mobile Account (AMA) scheme, VRG delivers low-cost financial transactions directly to basic feature phones — without requiring internet or smartphones.
PROVEN TRACK RECORDWe are not just building a payments platform. We are building a better tomorrow.
VRG was created because a lot of people have given up on financial inclusion for the most vulnerable. We haven't — and we're building the infrastructure to prove it, one connection at a time.
